TEDx Talks
Finding your unicorn | Morgan Berman | TEDxWalnutStWomen
Morgan Berman, co-founder of MilkCrate, a digital hub for the sustainability community, explains why figuring out what frustrates you - and daring to chase your unicorn - might just lead you to your passion. Morgan co-founded MilkCrate, a digital hub for the sustainability community, after living in West Philadelphia and discovering that there was a growing community of people like her who wanted to live more sustainably in their neighborhood but lacked a central place to share information and learn how to do good in their daily lives. Morgan launched her first start-up when she was 17 years old, as a fashion company she started with her mother, remaking vintage purses into one-of-a-kind creations. She sold her designs to acclaimed brands like Anthropologie and Joan Shepp. She holds a Masters of Science in Sustainable Design from Philadelphia University. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

And thats something that investors look for when they invest in companies. I heard it and continued to embrace it. As much as I would like to think that I know everything, it’s good to have someone tear you down and help build you back up. Find someone to share your idea with, and seek out the individuals that can help give you advice.” Finding A Team “You can’t do it alone! If you don’t let go of some of the more important tasks to your team, you’re being a bad leader. You have to trust and empower your team to be responsible.” Have Fun and Don’t Lose Yourself “If you find yourself losing yourself, you’re not only hurting yourself but you’re also hurting your company. You need balance, joy, and good health.” __________ Techie, Millennial Author, WWE Fan, Podcaster. Philadelphia native, Johnathan Grzybowski started his career at 14 mowing lawns. Over 5 businesses later, Johnathan has a deep passion on bettering the lives of millennials and helping them execute their ideas into profitable businesses. It’s never been easier to start a business, but how do you make it successful? Constantly millennials are claiming to be entrepreneurs, but may not truly know what it takes to either become one or last long enough to succeed at being one. By listening/viewing The Blind Entrepreneur, we are determined to help those who are “blind” see the true struggles of business, successes, and the grind it took these millennials to succeed. #LINKS Email: Johnathan@wearedino.com Podcast: http://theblindentrepreneur.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jgrzybowski Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/grzybowskij Instagram: http://instagram.com/grzybowskij Snapchat: https://www.snapchat.com/add/grzybowskij #SUBSCRIBE iTunes: http://bit.ly/TBEPodcast #PS.
